July Tarot Forecast
Heres what to expect for the remainder of this month.
What is obvious? The Two of Cups Reversed.
This month the collective is struggling with feelings of rejection and a desire to return to times long lost in the past. This summer has felt different than the summers of the past, we are too aware of the inequities of this world now. We remember when we were young and Apollo kissed our cheeks and shoulders with his sunshine. In the present, the sun feels abusive, and we wonder why we all must suffer his wrath; instead of just the ones that we feel deserve it. There is some disconnection with our magic, we know that coming home to the self is needed to get through this month. Healing and comfort come from within, not without.
What is to be revealed- The Queen of Wands.
We have more power than we know to control the flow of energies around us. The queen of wands walks in the fire and comes out unburnt, but stronger than we can imagine. Apollo offers his heat to fuel your magics, not to burn you! The queen is generous and shares her powers with those in her kingdom, yes, but she does not allow herself to be bent to another’s will. When we feel the sting of rejection and loss this month, we can remember our power. Find what emboldens, and stride forward. Use all the attachments available, especially the ones that we have felt harmed by in the past- Its time to use them for our benefit, and for the benefit of those we love and wish to support.
What is obvious- The Seven of Swords Reversed.
You know you’ve been avoiding something. What is it? We avoid things when the path to our Desired Outcome is not clear. When we truly embrace our desires and no longer allow concerns of loss and harm stand in our way, we realize we hold all the cards. We know, deep down, that our dream has to come first. We know we must shadowwork the fear standing in the way.
What is to be revealed- Justice Reversed.
You are not a Martyr. There is no need to sacrifice ourselves for the benefit of others. We must stop trying to please everyone, it’s impossible. Playing the martyr might seem like the “right” thing to do, but this is the way of the old world. Our outward efforts often do not serve others in the way we intended anyhow. When we cater to the people around us it can actually enable harmful behaviors and entrap both parties back in an unhealthy situation. When our martyrdom doesn’t result in any gratitude or uplifting, we tend to victimize ourselves to make sense of what happened. At the end of the day, we can only blame ourselves when we let things come between us and our dreams. Let nothing, nothing, stand in the way. Shadowwork any feelings of inadequacy and any compulsion to be self sacrificial.
What is obvious- Ten of Swords Reversed.
Now we have identified the feelings of loss, reflected on our self destructive tendencies, and have some direction on how to finally tackle those dreams we had put on the back burner. Next, we know we must come out of the death pose and rise up again. We know that we can’t run ourselves ragged in pursuits of our goals, so naturally we worry about how we can accommodate our needs within the situation. We may have let these concerns dissuade us in the past- we know we must take care of our energy and physical form this time around. It is not hopeless, There is Power Here. Self nurturing leads to new wells of energy, and a revitalized more healthful approach. It allows us to tackle more, not less.
What is to be revealed-The Hierophant.
The key that unlocks this puzzle, of how to put the self first and the dream first at the same time, is found when we share what we are learning. The act of celebrating new growth and intentional focus opens the door to not only uplift others but also find mentorship where we least expect it. Solutions come forward when we talk out our struggles, and ofttimes discussion results in help being offered from unexpected sources. Connect with ancestors in this time, subvert any social pressures as they arise. Be authentic in your connection. When we open ourselves up to knowledge, the universe provides us with a teacher. Hekate offers her connection and wisdom in this time as well.
What is obvious- The Five of Pentacles Reversed.
Money is a huge focus this month, we feel the pressures of survival in this harsh world. We have some form of community in this struggle, but if the focus of the entire collective is based in feelings of scarcity, we only give more energy and power to the spirit of scarcity itself. We also miss the beauty and opportunities that are available when we are so ready to just give-up. We know the current system is not sustainable, so we also know we need to look for new solutions now, within our current situation. Because now is when we need a solution, not in some imagined future when things are ‘looking better financially.’
What is to be revealed- The Six of Swords Reversed.
What we put into the world is what surrounds us and comes back to us. Are we putting out hard efforts that can only drains us? Then we can expect more draining work to be added to our plates. Are we running from some responsibility? Then we can’t rightly complain when the people and things we regard as reliable end up failing us. However! If our focus is on a new beginning, on loving ourselves, and on moving forward at all costs? New opportunities will find us, our connection to others may find new emotional depth, and the tings that do not align with us will fall away and free up the path forward.
Key Takeaway- Six of Cups Reversed.
It’s time to build our nests, to work yes, but to work towards health and comfort. Dreaming about the past can create expectations for the future that don’t actually align with our true path. No more time for ‘if-only’s and ‘someday’s. If we live in the present moment, we will find what we need; we already have. What we give to others needs to align with what we wish for yourself, but we can longer entertain notions of self sacrifice. Nurture our Self, and find some creature comforts every day; taking special care to transform the broken and nonfunctioning areas of our lives. Take the help offered to you. Don’t let media sources drag down your spirit. Building your nest means making your life work for you, instead of the other way around. First we must make ourselves safe and supported, then we can FLY.
