Spirit Flame of the Moon
Introducing the first of our spirit flames! This flame, is dedicated to the moon, our guiding torch herself.
What is a spirit flame?
Our flames are a blend of herbs in an enchanted glass vessel, to be infused into a tincture and used to light your cauldrons aflame for rituals and spell casting.
Anytime you wish to call upon the moon’s energies with the element of fire, wether it be in a small alter cauldron or a giant blazing bonfire, this particular blend can be used as the fuel that ignites the initial flame, and add additional magickal powers towards your intentions.
When you purchase this product you receive a blend of herbs chosen for both their magick and physical properties, all representing the moon as the heavenly body, the goddess, and all the archetypes she holds as one of the seven classical planets. These herbs are contained in a corked glass bottle, ready to be filled with alcohol of your choosing. We cannot recommend this product for consumption, but food grade alcohol may be used and the herbs are of food grade quality.
Instructions
Remove seal, and fill bottle with the alcohol you have available. We recommend either rubbing alcohol or a clear food grade spirit, like vodka.
Take a moment to add some of your own energy and intention into the mixture, to make it your own.
Cork it, give it a shake, and place in a dark space to infuse and charge for a time. The longer you are able to charge it, the more potent the infusion will be, and for some extra oomph infuse the mixture for a complete moon cycle before use.
The methods in which you use your spirit flame are up to you and your practice, but to start we recommend a simple cauldron spell, like we’ve done here.
In a safe space, away from flammable substances, place your cauldron. surround with any crystals or totems that match your intention for the spell. Pour a small amount of spirit flame tincture into the cauldron, while acknowledging the power of the moon and its influence in this working. A small amount of herbs or paper may also be added, as you feel led. Light a match while speaking your intentions, preferably aloud, and drop the lit match into the cauldron. The spirit will immediately ignite, and burn cleanly for a few minutes. As the flame burns you may notice and meditate on the warm and sweet smell of the infused herbs. Stay vigilant until the last of the spirit flame burns out, and absorb the lunar energies of the working you’ve just done.
